25 years of Brougham Hall
We are very excited to be able to share with you a celebration of Brougham Hall over the last 25 years, in the form of the "Brougham Hall News". The author and publisher, Alistair Aynscough, came to us as part of a Youth Training Scheme, on 1st December 1986 and has been with us ever since. It was quickly apparent that Alistair had phenomenal journalistic skills and an outstanding memory. Starting with little more than an Amstrad and a Box Brownie, Alistair edited a fortnightly newsletter which, by Monday 26th December 2011, had run into 685 issues, in 28 volumes. This “magnum opus” is an invaluable record of the revival of Brougham Hall and the events that occur within it. The entire series was laid out for inspection when HRH the Duke of Gloucester came to Brougham Hall, for lunch, in 2003. On 1st December 2011, Alistair published his Silver Jubilee edition, which you can enjoy by clicking here.
