Set in the heart of the Eden Valley, in the Tudor Building of Brougham Hall, our Eden Valley Cycle Centre is the perfect launch point for a day, weekend or week of wonderful cycling. The Eden Valley is in the north of England, close to the Scottish border and Hadrian’s Wall, separating the dramatic peaks of The Lake District from the highest summits of The Pennines. Cycle Routes and Rentals

If you’re new to cycling then the lightweight, specialized Crossoads bike will be perfect for a day out on the backroads. These bikes use the latest 8-speed hub gear technology so you don’t have to worry about complicated moving parts – changing gear is simply a twist of the wrist, whether you’re riding along or standing still.

For experienced riders

For families

we have trailers, tag-a-longs and junior bikes available. With Wetheriggs Pottery, Abbotts Lodge Jersey Ice Cream Farm and Play Area and the wonderful cafe at Melkinthorpe all between 4 and 6 miles away you know you’ll have a great cycling day out!

Eden Weekenders

Enjoy two or three nights in a fine guesthouse in the historic market town of Penrith and spend the days exploring the rolling hills, quiet backroads, villages & cafes of the Eden Valley. There are many rides to choose from and the weekend packages include a ride pack of different options, all measured, timed and planned with recommended stopping off points along the way.
